B 365 - Linnea - Lots!

Used Lots of Boards & Templates!!
This is a customer quilt and it it huge! Well, big. It was pieced by Pat Krier and I quilted it for Chestnut Ridge Sewing in Millersburg, OH.
I used the Featherz Wreath, micro featherz wreath, Aztec, 18" crosshatch, ZigZag board, 7 Treasures board. The only thing I did freehand was the Border that has daisies and leaves. It was a LOT of work!! I did a lot of SID too.
I think it looks wonderful! What do you think??
Thanks fr all your encouragement!!

B 358 - Sandra Darlington - Baptist Fan-Ginko- Cable

Here's a scrappy log cabin using Thimbleberries fabrics. I used the Baptist Fan in the center of the quilt, the Cable template for the spines of my feathers and a design from the Ginko for the 4 corners.

B 357 - Carmen - 7 Treasures & Diamondz

Red Batik Wholecloth with 7 Treasures & Diamondz

The fabric used in this quilt is Timeless Treasures hand dyed batik. I used two panels and pieced them to make the 60" square quilt. I placed a trio of the elements from the 7 Treasures giant template in each corner and a grouping of four elements in the center of the quilt. I used the front stylus system and the Diamondz template as well as the blade from the basic Circle Lord for the arcs to tie the diamonds, corner and center designs together. I like the 7 Treasures of Buddah template because there is a lot of open area available within the elements for additional quilting and enhancement.

B 339 - Kathy Henderson - Featherz Wreath and Cable

This queen size quilt was pieced by Stacey Green. I used the feathers template in each of the 8 squares surrounding the center star. Freehand feathers were added to the light sections inside the inner border. The outer border was quilted with the cable template. Other techniques were used for the remaining areas.

D 333 - Julie - Baltimore - Featherz, Tiles - Crosshatch

Finally getting around to re-posting this quilt from October. It's a faux Baltimore Album, done with pre-printed blocks. I used alternate neutral setting blocks as I needed to stretch it to a queen sized quilt for my niece's wedding gift. Used CL feathered wreaths (turning both clockwise and counter clockwise) in the alternate blocks, and CL tile template to do the piano keyed border. I tried to do a different freehand background filler in each of the "applique" blocks, but did crosshatch more than one. I find my creativity wanes when I'm on a deadline. I put the final stitches in the label at noon, and the wedding was at 2 pm!

B 273 - Carmen - Gypsy Rose Garden - Lot'sa Templates

Gypsy Rose Garden using 6 CL templates

This quilt is an adaptation of a pattern that I found on the internet by Cyndi Walker and it is called Flowr Patch. I used a Moda Layer Cake fabric pack called Gypsy Rose and added the tan fabric as accent and borders. The quilt measures 52" x 52". For the quilting I used the Featherz and Micro Featherz templates, the large Crosshatch template, wavy line from the Rope templates, the Cable templates, and the fish border from the Clam Shell templates, with free motion fill along the outside border and around the cable. With the exception of the long templates all of the quilting was done using the CL Front System.

B 222 - Vicki Waitz - Brown-Orange Spiral Quilt - BF

The brown and orange spiral quilt, as you can see, is done with the Spiral template.  The picture of the close-up Back of this quilt shows the border done using the Clam/Baptist Fan large template.

D 221- Vicki Waitz - Anna's Quilt - Aztec - Spirals

Anna's Quilt (my granddaughter) shows the flower done with the Aztec and some inner border done with the wavy line on the large Rope template.  I used the Aztec flower throughout the quilt and the Spiral on the alternate squares.

B 153 - Terry - Patchwork Quilt - Water - Cl Circles

This is a crib size patchwork quilt I did. No idea what pattern I used. I used the giant Water template in the quilts body and I used the CL base unit to do Deb Levy's method of using 1/2 circles to frame in the outer border.

D 145 - Terry - CL Sampler Quilt - Ginkgo - Tiles - Mini Featherz

Just finished this one. It's all CL except for the Freehand vines in the green inner border. I used the Ginko template and the mini featherz for the center motifs, then I used the Tile board for the piano key border. I used the 48" crosshatch board with the front pop up thingy to do the crosshatching in the background area.

B 143 - Stuart Van - Tin Lizzie Dizzy- Swirls - Aztec - Ginkgo

Hi,
I am posting for Stuart. This is his first Circlelord work using his Tin Lizzie Circlelord.

"Ok the top is black and bottom is teal the batting is poly on the bottom and then warm and natural on top of it. The thread I used was wal-mart brand machine quilting thread. Grey on top and black in the bobbin. I hope you like all the photos. Wish me luck as I have become the most highley prized frogger in the world. I frogged out a whole spool of thread, until I got the hang of the Cl. No I am not complaing I just had to figure it all out. and the placement of my rows and which rows receive the straight cross hatch and which one got the curved crosshatch. I went for the oppisite of each type of design straight got curved and curved got the straight c.c. It has not been bound yet as I am not sure what I want to use yet. "
